Why (oh why) have I not seen this before! I have LIVED this very story, except the part about the dog bleeding. In fact I don’t have a dog, but I used to, and I did bite it once. And my name isn’t Lisa. And I have never had trouble giving a fake name – I use “Chas.” Of course, that’s actually my real name, or a shortened version of it. I sometimes use “Miller,” mostly when there are other people in the coffee shop already using “Chas.”
I have never had anyone else using the name “Chas.”
But other than THAT, I have lived this exact same story!!
Except that I ALWAYS get a drink.
