Robyn, I love your comics so much!
As a smart ass know it all, I have another theory: the kid could have heard that fish eat plastic because it looks like food and then we eat fish, so we eat plastic. But, I bet it’s more likely there’s a GI Joe in there waiting to be pooped out, which could tie back to the previous comic.
