L. Nichols was born and raised in southwestern Louisiana. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in media arts and sciences, both from MIT. L. currently lives and works as an illustrator, comics artist and graphic designer in Brooklyn. Her comics often draw from her own life experiences and observations as inspiration. L. has self-published 10 issues of “Jumbly Junkery” as well as several other stand-alone comics and posts new
