“Nathan Alan Stryker the First grew up in da hood, and as such did not experience much in the way of comics. Like many, his understanding of ‘comics’ consisted of what was in the newspaper and the superhero marvels cherished by his more nerdy of friends. As he grew, he started noticing that the definition of ‘geek’ changed from socially-inept-wimp to intelligent-soon-to-be-punk. As a result, he found himself falling into that category as well and suddenly large numbers of his friends were reading these comic things.
